Definition of a fool:
“someone who knows the truth but believes the lies”
A show that toured in 2017 and is even more relevant today
Emulating Shakespeare’s notion as was described in 3 of his plays: (Romeo and Juliet, King Lear y Timon of Athens), “Fortune´s Fool” offers a comical view of fate, destiny, truth and lies and reminds us that it is in our hands to change our own destiny.
In these times of Social Media, deep fake, fake news and alternative truths, the show will try to help us question our reality and the world around us and encourage us to find solutions to improve our lives.
Comedy, music and audience participation will all lend a hand in yet another original thought-provoking show designed to entertain the students of your school.
For 1st to 4th year ESO, Bachillerato, technical courses and the EOI. The show comes with highly educational, graded teaching material, including listenings, videos and the songs from the show. It lasts around 60 minutes. Recommended maximum audience: 250

Today the teachers Jeff and June take the pupils of Cross Lanes Primary School to the theatre to see the end of year show. Bob, the teacher in charge of directing the show, is extremely nervous having been told by the director that if the show doesn’t receive the same good reviews as the school in the next town, she will be fired.
Harry is a new teacher with little experience and is helping Bob with the preparations for the show. However, a misunderstanding about the time of the show leaves Bob and Harry in a very tight spot. They will have to use all their imagination to save the show, the reputation of the school and her own jobs.
The show offers the audience the chance to actively participate in the world of theatre. As with all Moving On shows, it is a highly participatory musical comedy. For 3rd to 6th year Primary.
The show includes Teaching Material with written and listening exercises. Two songs are sung live in the show and included in the Teaching Material:
See You Later Alligator
